| The
founder of RateMyInternships.com,
Sarah Kapenstein, is an experienced intern. During her senior year
of college, she interned at the White House, the Senate, and the
US Supreme Court. Prior to that, she interned for a radio station,
an environmental organization, a Congressional campaign, and music
company Napster.
Having loved some of these internships and regretted others,
she created RateMyInternships.com for interns to share their experiences.
It is her hope that future interns will avoid companies that do
not treat their interns well. She believes that interns are smart,
ambitious, hard workers and should be treated as such. And, they
should be paid.
Sarah is a graduate of The George Washington University with
a degree in Political Communication. She has now moved out of
the world of internships into a full time job and graduate school.
Originally from Philadelphia, PA, she now resides in Arlington,
VA.
If you have a question about Sarah’s internships or would
like advice on getting an internship,
feel free to email her: sarah@ratemyinternships.com.
